Overview
The brief.
Afgan’s Evolution Jakarta Concert was built around a series of live visual sequences designed to support different musical sections throughout the show. Working from the visual director’s initial direction, I developed three LED visual sequences independently — from breaking down the brief and exploring the visual language to defining the sequences and executing the final visuals for the stage.
The Challenge

The visuals needed to support different musical sections throughout the concert while maintaining a cohesive visual language across the LED stage.
Starting from the visual director’s initial direction, the challenge was translating each section into its own visual sequence while keeping the experience dynamic, immersive, and responsive to the energy of the performance.
the solution
Building a visual system in motion.
I developed three visual sequences for different sections of the show, exploring abstract forms, landscapes, light structures, and movement as the core visual language.
Each sequence was developed independently from brief breakdown to visual execution, allowing the visuals to evolve with the music while still feeling connected as part of one larger stage experience.
Outcome
From frames to a live experience. Three visual sequences were brought to the stage as part of Afgan’s live performance transforming abstract concepts into an immersive visual environment experienced by the audience in real time.
